Wedding Policies & Guidelines

A summary of what to expect when booking your wedding at The Legacy of Argyle. All final terms are established in your signed rental agreement.

📅  About Date Holds

Submitting a date request through our website places a temporary hold only — it is not a confirmed reservation. Your wedding date is officially confirmed only after our staff has reviewed your request, approved it, and you have signed a rental agreement with The Legacy of Argyle. Website hold expiration timelines are separate from the final contract and payment schedule.

Temporary Date Holds & Confirmation

When you submit a date request, we place a temporary hold on that date in our calendar while we review your inquiry. This hold does not constitute a reservation and does not guarantee the date. Your wedding date is officially confirmed only when:

  • Our staff has reviewed and approved your request,
  • You have signed a rental agreement with The Legacy of Argyle, and
  • Any required payment has been received as outlined in your agreement.

Please do not finalize vendor contracts, send invitations, or make other commitments based on a temporary hold alone. Contact our staff anytime if you have questions about your hold status.

Wedding Package & Space Terms

All package selections, space assignments, access times, and add-ons are finalized in your signed rental agreement — that document is the authoritative record of everything included in your booking. Any changes to package or space selections after signing must be made in writing and approved by venue staff before they take effect.

Ceremony Setup & Room Reset

Ceremony setup and room reset are included in all wedding packages. Whether you are hosting a ceremony, a reception, or both, our staff will work with you to plan the layout and any transitions needed. Details and timing will be documented in your signed rental agreement.

Rehearsal Scheduling

Rehearsal access is subject to venue availability and must be scheduled directly through our staff. Please keep the following in mind:

  • Rehearsal access is not automatically guaranteed for the evening before your wedding.
  • If another event is booked near your rehearsal date, availability may be limited or unavailable.
  • Contact us well in advance to confirm — do not assume availability.

Rehearsal Dinners

The Legacy of Argyle may be able to host your rehearsal dinner as a separate reservation. Rehearsal dinners are subject to availability, require a separate rental agreement, and may involve additional charges. Contact our staff to discuss options and check availability for your preferred date.

Decorating & Early Access

Your decorating access window is outlined in your signed rental agreement. If no event is scheduled the day before your wedding, prior-day decorating access may be available beginning at 2:00 p.m. — please confirm availability with staff when finalizing your agreement. Early access is not guaranteed and depends on the venue calendar.

All decorations and any proposed furniture rearrangements must be approved by venue staff in advance. The following items are prohibited both inside and outside the venue:

  • Open flames or candles not in fully enclosed, approved holders
  • Fireworks and sparklers of any kind
  • Confetti, glitter, rice, and birdseed
  • Any item that may damage venue property or create a safety hazard

Vendor & Caterer Requirements

All vendors — including caterers, photographers, DJs, florists, and others — must be approved by venue staff prior to the event. We reserve the right to require caterers and applicable vendors to provide proof of current general liability insurance. If you are working with vendors not previously used at our venue, share their information with us as early as possible in the planning process.

Outside or carry-in alcohol is strictly prohibited. All alcohol at The Legacy of Argyle must be supplied and served in accordance with venue policy.

Photography & Venue Spaces

Photography within your rented event spaces is warmly welcomed. If you or your photographer would like access to additional areas of the property not included in your rental, prior staff approval is required. Any commercial use of photographs or images featuring The Legacy of Argyle requires prior written permission from the venue.

Alcohol & Bartender Policies

All alcohol served at venue events must be supplied and served by the venue or by licensed bartenders operating under venue policy. Carry-in or outside alcohol is strictly prohibited.

Bartender service is included in all wedding packages. For Premier and Platinum packages, additional bartending staff is available as an add-on if your guest count or event schedule calls for extra help — your venue coordinator can advise on whether this makes sense for your event.

All guests consuming alcohol must be of legal drinking age. The venue reserves the right to refuse service to any guest at any time.

Music End Times

Your DJ or band must follow the venue’s approved event schedule as documented in your rental agreement. Amplified music must remain at a level appropriate to the venue throughout your event.

⚠  Pending Confirmation

The current agreements reference two different end times — 11:00 p.m. in one section and 11:30 p.m. in another. The correct cutoff time will be confirmed by management and updated here before this page is published.

Cleanup & Event Closure

All guests, vendors, and personal items must vacate the venue and all cleanup must be fully completed by the venue’s closing time as stated in your rental agreement. All decorations, personal belongings, and rental equipment must be removed the same evening unless a separate written arrangement has been approved by staff in advance.

Pets & Service Animals

Service animals are welcome in accordance with applicable law. Personal pets are generally not permitted inside the venue. If you wish to include a pet in an outdoor portion of your event, please discuss this with staff well in advance — outdoor pet access is subject to staff approval and will be outlined in your agreement.

Prohibited Items

The following are strictly prohibited at all events — both inside and in outdoor areas of the venue:

  • Open flames of any kind
  • Candles not in fully enclosed, approved holders
  • Fireworks and sparklers
  • Confetti and glitter
  • Rice and birdseed
  • Any other items that may damage property or create a safety hazard

Guest, Vendor & Damage Responsibility

As the customer of record, you are responsible for the conduct of all guests and vendors — including adherence to venue policies, the care of venue property, proper cleanup, and the removal of all personal items by the end of your access window. Any damage to venue property caused by you, your guests, or your vendors will be assessed and billed as outlined in your signed rental agreement.

Cancellation & Date Changes

All cancellation, rescheduling, and date-change provisions — including applicable timelines, payment obligations, and what portions of any payments may be retained — are governed exclusively by your signed rental agreement. Please review this section carefully before signing and contact staff with any questions.

Contract Requirement

No reservation at The Legacy of Argyle is finalized without a fully executed, signed rental agreement. This page is a general informational guide only. In the event of any conflict between content on this website and the terms of your signed agreement, the signed agreement controls in all cases.

A Note on These Policies
These policies are provided as a general guide and do not replace the signed rental agreement. Final terms, services, fees, access times, cancellation provisions, and responsibilities will be documented in the agreement approved by The Legacy of Argyle and the customer.
